On this circular route, we follow the Río Ízbor from the village of Ízbor to the Embalse de Beznar. The route is 10.24 km long, has an elevation of 435 m and takes about 4 hours to complete.

LONG DESCRIPTION

The route begins at the Merendero just outside the village of Ízbor. We start by walking through the village and then follow the Río Ízbor up to the Embalse de Beznar. We then cross the old Granada road and skirt round the village of Pinos del Valle, before making our way back down to the starting point.

Note: At the start of this walk it is necesary to cross the river 5 times. THis is OK at times of low river flow but may be difficult just after a lot of rain.
