
This scenic circular route goes from the village Árchez to Canadillas de Albaida. The route is 6.02 km long, has an elevation of 238 m and takes about 3 hours to complete.
The route starts in the village of Árchez. We leave the village and follow the Río Algarrobo. Crossing over the bridge, we first come to the Molino de Doña Fidela and then to the Molino Matías. We continue to follow the river along some metal pathways and then a section of Roman road and over a Roman bridge. We skirt round the northern side of the village of Canillas de Albeida passing by the Ermita de Santa Ana. We walk down along the Calle Agua and then the Calle Granada to the Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Expectación, and then on down to the Ermita de San Antón, and then past some Gaudi-style buildings to the Iglesia de la Encarnación and its Mudejar minaret. We continue on down to the Lavadero Público "La AceQuia" or public washbaths and back to the starting point.
