This circular clockwise route explores the Geoparque area near the village of Bácor. The route is 13.8km long, it has an elevation of 430m and it takes about 4.5 hours to complete.

LONG DESCRIPTION

The route starts near the village of Bácor. From here, we follow the Río Baul for about 1.5km before turning off to the left and making our way through the Rambla del Chopo and the Barranco del Crespo. We then make our way up following the Vereda del Chopo up to the Mirador de Caliches, the Casa Forestal del Pajarillo, the Mirador del Oeste or del Cañón del Baúl, and finally the Mirador del Norte. From the top of this mountain, there are fantastic views of the Sierra Nevada, the Sierra de Baza, the SIerra Mágina, La Sagra and Cazorla. We then make our way down through the Rambla del Baúl following the Río Baúl and through the Barranco de la Sabina to return to the starting point.
