Lentegí: Lost Buddha Walk: Version 2
Sunday 9th of February 2025 11:00 AMThe route starts near the village of Lentegí and walks up to El Puntal. The route is 15.8 km long, has an elevation of 539 m and takes about 5 hours to complete
LONG DESCRIPTION
The hidden Buddha walk is a linear walk up to the top of a mountain, with an uphill of 539 metres. The walk is easier than it sounds by distance because it is a very steady climb. The final part involves some fairly easy scrambling. We eat at the summit, which is at 1201 metres, where the views are excellent. The best place to go for a beer afterwards is the Capricho in Otivar which does very good tapas and has a large outside space.
First off all we meet up at a meeting point 3km from the start point, then we all drive up together with us as the first car. We did this because the start of the walk has no phone coverage and many people got lost.
