Quéntar: Circular Route - Cerro de la Ventanilla
Sunday 23rd of April 2023 11:00 AMThis circular route explores the hills above the village of Quéntar. The route is 13 km long, has an elevation of 464 m and takes about 4.5 hours to complete.
LONG DESCRIPTION
The route starts in the village of Quéntar on the old Granada road. Walking anticlockwise, we walk up to the Cerro de la Ventanilla, around El Majano and then down to cross the Barranco del Prado. From here, we continue down to the Fuente del Mochuelo before making our way back to the starting point. Throughout the route, there are some spectacular views of the Quéntar dam, the surrounding area and the Sierra de Huétor.

The other half of the reason for charging is that people put their name down for walks without the intention of actually doing the walk and never turn up. Charging in advance is a way of avoiding this.
Can you come without signing up: Everything has its price. If you arrive without signing up we would accept 10 euros per person payed in cash. We only accept notes. We have no change.
