Lentegí: Circular - Las Bizarras

Walk with Sexisenderistas

Spanish

This circular walk explores the hills above Lentegí. This walk is 9.3km long and takes approximately 3 hours to complete.

LONG DESCRIPTION

The walk begins at the municipal swimming pool just above Lentegí. We walk up into the hills via a well-defined and maintained path. When we get to the top, we follow a good 4x4 track with fantastic views of Guajar Alto, Pico de la Girada and Sierra Nevada. This is the track from Ítrabo to Granada. We continue on the trail through Las Bizarras and we can make a slight detour to see the Fuente de las Bizarras and also the two old lime kilns (caleras) and on to a cave for lunch. We then make our way back down and retrace our steps on the first part of the route back to the start.

Calorie Note: The calories info is grouped into 3 figures according to body weight including luggage. This is just a very rough guide. Our figures here are lower than a fitbit. You can see how much 5% beer you will need to drink to replace the calories you have burned.

Note: The GPX time is the time on the GPX file. The GPX might not be accurate if during the walk the walkers went for a meal for example. Naismith is a formula based on distance and elevation.
