LONG DESCRIPTION

This is a walk in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. The road that goes up there from Granada is very popular with cyclists. Most of the walk is on wide 4x4 tracks. It starts off with a steady steep climb. There is a section which is beside the road in an old river bed. This route could also be a good cycle route. We chose the start of this walk in this location because there is parking for several cars and it is easy to find.
