This route explores the hills just south of the village Tocón de Quéntar. The route is 12.95 km long, has an elevation of 432 m and takes about 4.5 hours to complete.

LONG DESCRIPTION

The route starts in the village of Tocón de Quéntar. As we leave the village, there is an initial uphill ascent between the Majada de la Canadilla and the Cerro Perdiñel and round the Cerro la Cañadilla to reach the highest point of the walk at 1551 metres. From here we make our way down through the Prado Payoyo, skirting round various peaks to make our way back to the starting point.

Warning: There is a slightly difficult descent between two tracks just after half way around.  It lasts about 15 minutes. For this reason this route might not be suitable for people who are not steady on their  feet.
