
This circular route starts near the Casa Forestal de los Madroños in Tocón. The route is 10.32 km long, has an elevation of 267 m and takes about 4 hours to complete.
The route starts near the Casa Forestal de las Mesetas. We walk through La Zarzadilla and up round the Cerro Portalón to the highest point of the walk at 1420 m before a gradual downhill section. We then make our way up a fairly steep short section to reach the lunch spot. The track continues and a short while later, there is a steep, rocky downhill section where you need to be careful. We then make our way down gradually round the Cerro Madroño before walking back down to the starting point.
