
This circular walk explores the barrancos and hills to the west of Padul. The route is 11.86 km long, has an elevation of 296 m and takes about 4 hours to complete.
This circular route starts by walking along the Barranco de Fuentes Altas in Padul. We then continue on up along the Barranco del Anciano and the Cuesta del Arroyo and up to the Hoyo del Tío Fortuna which is the highest point of the walk at 1037 m. Here, we can enjoy some fantastic views of the surrounding hills and the Sierra Nevada mountain range. We then make our walk down by following the Camino de los Garranchales back to the starting point.
