The route starts near Venta El Puente. The route is 9.68 km long, has an elevation of 208 m and takes about 4 hours to complete.
The route begins near the Puente de los Siete Ojos. There is an uphill section towards the beginning and we then follow the Guadalfeo River to reach Órgiva. Here we follow the Río Seco down and walk through the town to the Río Chico and the Molino de Benizalte. Almost all of the final part of the route is downhill, passing the century-old olive trees to return to the starting point.
The Puente restaurant is a good place to have a beer after the walk. There is a garden round the back with lots of space.
