Circular walk around La Peza to explore the most important monuments and places in the village. The walk is 1.85km long, has an elevation of 69m and takes about an hour to complete.

LONG DESCRIPTION

The walk starts at the camper van carpark in La Peza. We walk up to the Plaza de España with the Town Hall and then down the Calle Real to the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Anunciación, a 16th century church built on the site of a former mosque. Fom here we make our way up to the ruins of the old Arab castle and then down to the municipal lavadero, where people would traditionally go to wash their clothes. We pass the church again and continue on up to the Ermita de San Marcos and on to the Cemetery de La Peza and back to the starting point.
