This route explores the area around Beas de Granada, the River Beas and the Barranco de Puerto Blanco. The walk is 12.9km long and takes about 4.5 hours to complete.

LONG DESCRIPTION

This lollipop walk starts in the small village of Beas de Granada. We cross the Río Beas at a point close to its source and start our ascent. We walk round the Cerro del Vivero and on to the Llanos de Buenavista. We then make our way down following the Camino de la Cerrada to the Barranco de Puerto Blanco and back to the starting point.  There are great views of the Sierra Nevada. The pradera restaurant is a good place to go for a beer afterwards.
