Granada - Bola de Oro - Pinos Genil

Walk with Granada City

Spanish

This is a very easy route from the sports centre Bola de Oro in Granada to the village of Pinos Genil. The route follows the river Genil.

LONG DESCRIPTION

As this route follows the river it has a very gentle climb and it is suitable for most fitness levels and also children.  The river Genil has very clear water which originates in the Sierra Nevada. There are several riverside restaurants in Pinos Genil which would be a great place to eat. There are also many places where you can sit beside the river if you prefer to take sandwiches.  There are normally ducks and other birds in the river.  This route is especially attractive in the Autumn and in the Spring.
