Cónchar: Atalaya del Marchal
Friday 2nd of January 2026 11:00 AMThis route walks up to the Atalaya del Marcha. The route is 10.2 km long, has an elevation of 381 m and takes about 4 hours to complete.
LONG DESCRIPTION
This route starts in Cónchar in the Valle de Lecrin. We leave the village and make our way to the Mirador del Concejo. From here we follow the track clockwise. This part of the route is quite steep as we make our way up to the Atalaya del Marchal where you have fantastic views of the Valle de Lecrin and also the Sierra Nevada mountains. There is then a gentle downhill section as we make our way back to the starting point.
