La Peza: Ermita San Antón - Fuente de la Gitana
Sunday 26th of May 2024 10:00 AMNote: After this route we will eat in the Teraza Central 3 just outside la Peza. The is a menu del dia for 12 euros and the normal menu. If you want to go to the restaurant indicate this when you sign up for the walk. Put an R with the number of people who want to go to the restaurant. EG: R1 John Smith.
On this circular route we walk from La Peza to the Fuente de la Gitana. The route is 11.64 km long, has an elevation of 255 m and takes about 4 hours to complete.
LONG DESCRIPTION
We begin the route in the town of La Peza. We walk through the village up to the Ermita San Antón. We follow the path uphill through Loma Acuilla to reach the highest point of the route at 1183 m. We now begin the descent, walking through Área Recreativa Fuente de la Gitana. We follow a section of the road before passing through el Almage to return to the beginning of the route.
